Knokke-Heist is a bustling place that has a lot to offer, there are many chic shops, hip bars, good restaurants and a casino. Beachhouse Alouette is located in a quiet area of ​​Knokke-Heist, only 200 m from the beach and within walking distance of center of town.

Knokke, the fashionable seaside resort that has been an established value on the Belgian coast for many years. Knokke-Heist consists of 2 parts, namely Knokke (also known as Het Zoute) and Heist itself. These are located within walking distance of each other, but still have a different 'vibe' about them. Knokke offers an extensive range of luxurious shops and unique accommodation options. This makes this area a magnet for people who appreciate a portion of luxury. Heist, on the other hand, is a bit quieter and family oriented.

  • Of course we cannot deny that this fashionable coastal municipality's greatest and most well-known asset is its extensive range of shops. The so-called 'golden shopping triangle' Lippenslaan, Dumortierlaan and Kustlaan form the beating heart of the coast. From exclusive brands such as Louis Vuitton to the most unique boutiques you can find here.

  • Knokke is known as a luxury destination. In addition to enjoying the beach, it is also the ideal destination for walks. Not in the quiet woods, but along the Belgian coast and through the beautiful residential areas.

  • In the summer of 2020, Knokke launched a youthful concept, namely the Instagram, Tiktok and LinkedIn routes. These are accessible to young and old and take you along the most photogenic and often unknown places in the municipality. This original and hip concept makes short work of the daily boring walk!

  • Rent a(n) (electric) bicycle and discover the surroundings of Knokke, such as the beautiful nature reserve Het Zwin (4 km away) with beautiful dunes and a bird park.

  • Sluis & Cadzand in the Netherlands can also be reached by bicycle, great for a bike ride with a refreshing drink and delicious dinner in one of the cozy restaurants at the end.

  • From Knokke to Heist there are 12 km of sandy beaches. You are super close to the nearest beach “Alberstrand” where there are many trendy beach bars.

  • If you fancy an activity, Surfers Paradise might be for you. Located next to the nature reserve Het Zwin, where you can surf, kitesurf, windsurf or paddleboard.

  • For water sports enthusiasts, also Lakeside Paradise is literally paradise; here you can go water skiing, windsurfing, play kayak polo and stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) via a cable car. If you prefer to keep it dry, you can drink a beer or a summer cocktail in the hammocks, beanbags, or beach chairs on the landscaped beach.

  • A day trip to the city of Bruges is also highly recommended, the city can be reached within half an hour's drive.

  • Nearby you will find the train station of Knokke-Heist (10 min drive). The international airports of Antwerp and Brussels are both a 1.5-hour drive away.

The central location of Knokke offers a good base for discovering other regions in the area. You will find Cadzand at 14 km, Sluis at 10 km, Damme at 12 km and Bruges at 20 km.
